Roe Moore

Directing

Biography

Roe Moore is a Los Angeles–based director who lives in two worlds: the control room and the film set. Whether calling cameras for a live concert or shaping a comedic moment on set, she brings valuable discipline and experience to every frame. With over a decade in the entertainment industry, Roe specializes in directing live concerts, variety, and competition shows while continuing to develop and direct scripted comedies through her company, PiePie Productions. Her live directing credits include Dodgers Hololive, a post-game concert streamed to over 200,000 live viewers and a full stadium audience, WeHo Pride concert stages, and seminar events for Faraday Future, Two Pages, Promise Studios, and Marianne Williamson. On the scripted side, her comedies How We Met, Breakfast Salad, and Undercover Wrestler have screened at over fifty film festivals, earning multiple awards and returning to many as alumni selections for her upcoming projects Walkies, Uncle, and Last Store on Melrose. Before stepping into the director’s chair in both the booth and on set, Roe built her foundation as a Script Supervisor and Assistant Director on unscripted shows including RuPaul’s Drag Race, Disney+’s Earth to Ned, CBS’s Family Film and TV Awards, and The CW’s Masters of Illusion and Hollywood Christmas Parade, where she served as AD for more than ten seasons. She also script supervised notable scripted projects including the Man Who Changed the World (starring Wallace Shawn), Jen McGowan’s feature Rust Creek, and numerous commercial and branded campaigns. A finalist for the Disney Entertainment Television Unscripted Directing Program and participant in the BlackMagic Future Women of TV initiative, Roe is known for her ability to stay calm under pressure, lead with collaboration, and create environments where people feel supported to do their best work, live or scripted.
