Biography

Maja Lunde is a Norwegian author and screenwriter. With her 2015 debut novel for adults “The History of Bees”, Lunde established herself as one of the most successful Norwegian Authors on the international literary stage. The novel was the most selling book in any genre in Germany in 2017, and is so far sold to 32 territories. The novel was the first debut to receive the prestigious Bokhandlerprisen (Norwegian Booksellers’ Prize). Lunde has written several books for children and young adults, as well scripts for Norwegian television and films.
