A story, warm and full of humor, about Maszenka, an 11-year-old girl from an orphanage in the Bieszczady Mountains who loves ballet. The first stage on her road to fulfilling her dream is the entrance exam to the ballet school in Gdansk. To make it there in time, she escapes from the orphanage, taking newly hired educator Kordula with her. They travel all the way across Poland, hiding from the police and meeting people who help them in need.

An eclectic mix of students wake up on a cold bus, knowing only they are about to start an internship at a remote hotel. They understood it would be difficult, but little did they know just how hard it would be.

Mula lives with her husband, sick mother and daughter Nina in a countryside house. At the weekend before Nina’s First Holy Communion, her brother with his family come for a visit together with Kaja – Mula’s younger sister, who disappeared suddenly 6 years earlier. Kaja is Nina’s biological mother. Mula is afraid that unstable Kaja might want to take her daughter away.

Lacking a traditional plot, the non-linear story follows the path of emotions and sensations. Based on actual events the film shows five acts – Miracle, Atonement, Regret, Prayer, Forgiveness – that might help us overcome the fear of death…

Mauł returns to her hometown village to care for her grandmother, who’s suffering from cancer. Her grandfather distances himself from the illness. As her condition worsens, Mauł reconnects with her past and the wild nature surrounding her.

The film was shot during a 40 min hectic interview in which the filmmakers are looking for a safe place to talk. Crossing the city they talk to a young man who fought for the pro-russian armed forces in the Dombass conflict. They learn a few simple facts about his life and how he become who he is.

A girl prepares herself for a difficult moment. Aposiopesis in classical Greek means becoming silent. Today we use it as figure of speech wherein a sentence is deliberately broken off and left unfinished.

The central character of the film has an unusual passion. He is ready to sacrifice a lot for it, including his own life. Exit Point is a film about decision making; in order to be free one must sometimes follow one's nature with no doubts. This is also a story of sacrifice in the name of superior values.
