Connection | Isolation presents eight intimate portraits of trans and post-gender individuals navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Amidst moments of connection and isolation, these participants reveal a deepening awareness of gender, their bodies, and trans community. Created by an all trans and queer crew, this hybrid documentary film interlaces portraits with reenactments, integrating archival material documenting what so many experienced and many still do.

Sam and Maggie were best friends. Maggie's partner, also named Sam, always felt jealous of their emotional connection. After Maggie accidentally overdoses and dies, the two Sams are left to deal with the memory of a person they both loved in very different ways, and with their own relationship, which is further complicated when they wake up in bed together the morning after a celebration of Maggie's life.

A naive young girl and her resilient mother must fight to survive in a disaster-ridden world after encountering a desperate traveler.
