After his top client, popular singer Rex Maynard, runs away to South Africa with his daughter, powerful producer Arnold Tiller stages Maynard's fake kidnapping out of revenge. Maynard escapes only to be pursued by real kidnappers.

Daan and his brother, Dingetjie, travel to Cape Town in search of Doctor McDonald to cure Dingetjie's shy nature. They encounter a conman who introduces them to a phony clairvoyant who promises to heal Dingetjie spiritually.
