Chakameh, who has lost both her husband and child in a car accident, meets a guy who was recently released from prison. While she is under pressure from lawyers to compromise with the arrested driver, the guy tells her his story of his arrest and subsequent release from prison.

A young woman's wedding becomes a ritual of mourning when her sister and family die in an auto accident on the way to the wedding. The sisters' mother refuses to accept her daughter's death, and in the midst of wedding guests and mourners, including the drivers of the truck that caused the accident, she orders the wedding to take place. But how can the daughter marry in the midst of a wake and without the family's traditional mirror, which the sister was bringing to the service?

Reza, the veteran worker of a print house whose sight is adversely affected because of his job, loses his mother. Finding the gloom reigning over the home beyond bearing, he departs to overcome his sorrows. He ends up at a hostel where he shares his room with a southern guy called Ahmad who has a group of orphan war-stricken children under his wing. After the initial inkling gives way to the friendship, Reza discovers that Ahmad's patron plies his trade in black-market. At the same time, Reza's sister is constantly beaten and humiliated by her husband for being infertile.

Golrokh, an Iranian author, struggles to settle her husband's debts caused by a business partner who left him to bear the consequences.

An Iranian girl marries a man who has been loved by a witch- daughter of a jin, who tries to frighten the poor woman by showing herself in evil ways that make the poor woman go unconscious several times and her sister convinces the poor woman's husband to divorce her.

In the early 2000s, Nahal Farrokhi, a teacher who had wanted to become an actress and is now waiting for a letter carrier to return her letter, and Sarang Sesh, a homeless person who had wanted to be a writer and has just been released from prison after fifteen years, meet each other at a crossroads (apparently in Tehran) and uncover secrets about their pasts.

A documentary film by Bahman Maghsoodloo about Bahram Bayzaei and his cinema, released in 2019. Maghsoodloo's conversations with Bayzaei in this film were recorded in Tehran in 2002 and Palo Alto in 2017.
