Director Claude Lanzmann spent 11 years on this sprawling documentary about the Holocaust, conducting his own interviews and refusing to use a single frame of archival footage. Dividing Holocaust witnesses into three categories – survivors, bystanders, and perpetrators – Lanzmann presents testimonies from survivors of the Chelmno concentration camp, an Auschwitz escapee, and witnesses of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, as well as a chilling report of gas chambers from an SS officer at Treblinka.

"Vlada Goes to London" is a short student film exploring the strong-willed Vlada on her night shift as a pizza delivery girl in her desperate attempt to book tickets to London and fulfill her dream of being a DJ. The end of the night brings more challenges than she expects.

Zaza is a 31-year old Israeli bachelor, handsome and intelligent, and his family wants to see him married. But tradition dictates that Zaza has to choose a young virgin. She must be beautiful and from a good family, preferably rich. Zaza's parents, Yasha and Lily drag Zaza to meet potential brides and their families. Zaza has no choice. He plays along with his family, advocates of the suffocating traditions of their Georgian Jewish heritage. But Zaza always manages to somehow get out of being engaged. What his parents don't know is that Zaza is already in love. Judith is sensuous, strong and intriguing. She's also a divorcée with a 6-year-old daughter. So Zaza has kept Judith a secret from his family. He will have to choose between respect of the strict confines of family and tradition, or the love of his life.

His father refuses to accept such behaviour from a member of the family and wants Zara to confess. To test Zaza's conscience he is forced to punish Zara's younger brother Dato.

"Surrounded by dozens of soldiers like me, I was led by bus to a remote camp in the desert, a place I knew nothing about. As a military photographer, I collected fragments of moments in my photos, serving as solid evidence for me." Shivtown is the story of an ordinary soldier who, in an intimate and courageous act, revisits memories from his military service through the still images he captured with an analog camera.

A film diary in which Perlov films the minutiae of his and his family's day-to-day life. From these small bits, he builds up a broad picture of life in Israel in the '70s and '80s.

Based on archive material, the film reveals the final years of Israel's founder, David Ben-Gurion. Excluded from leadership, he allowed himself a hindsight perspective on the Zionist enterprise.

Dania (35) visits his father, Abrasha, who lives in public housing for immigrants and suffers from Alzheimer's. Abrasha doesn't recognize his son and only wants to go home, even though he's already there.

In Search of Ladino follows Ladino speakers, their culture, their memories and hopes for their mother tongue. This unique film is one of the earliest works presenting Ladino-speaking Holocaust survivors in Israel, and it provides rare documentation of their testimonies and songs. Filmmaker David Perlov’s camera glances on the faces of the people, as he listens carefully to their stories and songs. The film was meant to be part of a trilogy about languages: Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino, but Perlov only managed to make the first film.

In His Image focuses on reproduction after death in Israel, where posthumously harvesting sperm is legal. The film follows the bereaved parents of three sons who died during military service. Using semen collected just before, or shortly after, their sons' death, they hope to have them live on in a posthumous grandchild. But can new life cure their grief?

With the establishment of the State of Israel, hundreds of Mizrahi and Balkan infants disappeared from immigrant camps. More than half were of Yemeni origin. Over the years, following public outcry, three commissions of inquiry were established, yet the fate of most of the children, including Yadida Jovany, remains unknown. The story of Aunt Yadida is a story of claustrophobia, of a dark, dusty storeroom that remained locked for years. Her living-dead presence hovered in the air of the family home. The opening of the archives in 2016 and the release of over 200,000 documents offered a first opportunity for intimate acquaintance with her past. What color were the crib bars she lay in at the infant home? Did she hear the soft sounds of a lullaby from a kind nurse's lips, or did fluorescent silence fill her room?

The year is 1994. A caravan site, built by the Israeli Government for immigrants from the Soviet Union, is about to be dismantled. Ilya (9) remains to defend the caravan of his grandfather, Jenia, who refuses to be evacuated.

22 years after being adopted, Noa embarks on a journey to Ukraine, retracing the path her adoptive mother took to receive her. She will also approach her biological mother and try to achieve closure with the two mothers in her life.
