Biography
Alex Hook (born November 5, 2001, in Toronto, Canada) is a Canadian actress best known for her leading role in the Nickelodeon series “I Am Frankie.” She began acting at an early age, first appearing in musical theater in Kingston before appearing on camera for the first time in 2012. Her big break came with the role of Frankie Gaines, an android, in the Nickelodeon sci-fi series “I Am Frankie” (2017). She played the lead role in 42 episodes. Alex Hook plays the role of Teen Kat, one of the central characters in the Hallmark series “The Way Home” (2023). She also played an important role in the Hallmark Christmas movie “A Nutcracker Christmas” (2016). She also stars in the Lifetime thriller “Galentine's Day Nightmare” (2021). She also appeared in “Safe House” (2021), directed by Jeff Glickman. Alex Hook holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University.
