Somewhere on top of a mountain, there is a miraculous cave: it is the PARIDEIRA. Tells the legend that if an infertile woman enters there, she becomes pregnant out of the cave. But for that to happen, an adult must die within that night.

In a society controlled by the SYSTEM, a Nazi variant of Big Brother limiting citizens privacy, João falls in love with Leonor, a persecuted Jew. The vigilant inspector who watched them, decided to let them in freedom, reconciling with his past: he was the grandfather of Leonor.

Alberto is 40 years old and lives with his mother in an apartment complex where he works as a concierge. One day, a circus group settles near Alberto’s residence, disturbing his everyday life and awakening his forgotten desire for independence and freedom.

In O Tempo Não Existe breathes the day by day of a man who turned 90 years old and continues to make painting and reflection on it the raison d'etre of his existence.

Madalena is a seven-year-old girl who has to draw the nativity scene. When she lists the characters in the biblical scene, she is confronted with a surprise: God, the father of Jesus, is not included in the scene. The girl is reluctant to accept this new information, but after considering the facts, she eventually comes to a curious conclusion.
