Yakov Koreshnikov, a border guard with extensive experience, is leading an operation to detain a group of foreign agents. Back in the 20s, he participated in the liquidation of the Basmachi gang. Then he first met the traitor Abzal. During the Great Patriotic War, Koreshnikov again had to face him. The saboteurs sent to the Turkestan highway area were then destroyed, but Abzal managed to escape. And here is their last meeting...

At the beginning of the First World War, Alexander Dragovich went to the front as a teenager. The October Revolution caught the hero in captivity in Russia. Like many of his countrymen, Alexander defected to the revolution. After becoming a chekist, Dragovich was sent to Turkestan. The film tells about the heroic struggle of a special purpose unit with gangs of Basmachi, spies of various stripes and saboteurs, about the adventures of the anarchist Kolya and the tragic love of Mushtari and Dragovich.

There is a civil war in Turkestan. Many people stood up in arms to defend the young Soviet government. Among them is the young Mayna Khasanova. She devoted her life to the struggle for the ideals of revolution. Mayna, as a girl from a legend, will accomplish a feat, a story about which many generations of Soviet people will betray by word of mouth. The young heroine will be awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Battle.

Based on the play of the same name by the Uzbek poet, playwright, and composer Hamza Hakimzade Niyazi. Exposing the feudal way of life, the wealthy landowners (bais), the clergy, and Tsarist officials, the film depicts the awakening of class consciousness among working Uzbeks.

The Cheka officers are conducting an operation to return the gold that the Basmachi plan to exchange for weapons.

After retiring, former Red Army commander Iskhak Sherov returns to Kyzyltash, the town he helped build. Seeking a peaceful life, he becomes embroiled in a conflict between residents wanting a public garden and the mayor, his old comrade Namazov, who opposes it. Sherov ultimately resolves the conflict in favor of the townspeople.

The events in Mahallada duv-duv gap occur in a mahalla — a traditional Uzbek neighborhood — in an old part of Tashkent at a time when big-scale construction works are taking place. The movie humorously depicts the relationships between traditional parents and their modern children.

1942, Great Patriotic War. Thousands of orphaned children evacuated from besieged Leningrad and other cities found shelter and care in Uzbek families and orphanages.

Success in work and rapid advancement through the ranks turned the young, capable geologist and prospector Andrei Chernogorov into a dry, selfish careerist. Simple, human relationships ceased to exist for him. Varya, Andrei’s wife, a collector by profession, having separated from her husband, leaves to look for a zirconium deposit. After some time, Andrei was sent to the same survey party. Arriving in the desert among ordinary people with their harsh, working everyday life, he begins to realize that he behaved unworthily.

The young music teacher Gulnora Rakhimovna, coming to school, initially encounters indifference to her subject both from schoolchildren and work colleagues. But with his desire to introduce children to the wonderful world of music, he wins the love and recognition of students and respect from other teachers.
