The two competing wine-grower families, Dolinar and Rozman hate each other. Ivan Dolinar is convinced that Stane Rozman has betrayed him and caused a death of his wife Maria. Until the real dark truth comes out, their children who fall in love with each other will have to overcome the family hatred.

The story takes place in the Goriska region, on an estate worth several million euros, which is also a tourist facility outside the series. The Spacapans have owned this estate since 1715. The current owner of the estate is Berto Spacapan, whose wife Tonka died in an accident.

This takes us to the Istrian camp Paradiso, where vacationers recharge their batteries away from the hustle and bustle of the capital city. The main characters, fall in love at first sight, but face a series of complications.

The Hribars are a simple family from the small village of Podgorje near Kamnik. Father Janko, mother Majda and their three children, twins Anja and Luka and the youngest Špela. They are an ordinary family until they win 55 million euros in the lottery, which completely shakes their everyday life. But everyone wants to have something from this amount. First their three children, then their neighbor Rozika, and whoever else would be found. How will the Hribars cope with the world of the rich?

The village Za hribom lies somewhere in the middle of the picturesque Dolenjska region, and it is home to a large number of nice people, led by the ambitious mayor Karel. But the election for a new mayor is just around the corner, and Karel wants to keep his mayoral seat at all costs.

The film story is based on a time-out when the characters from Vandot's stories about boy Kekec grow up. Rozle becomes the village priest, Mojca goes to work in the city, Bedanec becomes a village dormitory, Kosobrin is a slightly more modern herbalist, and Kekec remains a shepherd, but only slightly grows. Through all the narrative, Kekec wants, and he is very determined, to marry in a short time with Mojca, who is entrusted with his director Feri. A couple of times, they crash into Kosobrin's village after a drop of Mojca's painful eyes. Kosobrin and Bedanec still do not understand best. Bedanec still wants to get rid of Kosobrin's mysterious recipes and Kekec still protects him, but with increasing problems. Kekec's decisiveness, courage, and strength were broken by his unheard-of love towards Mojca. All this illness can only relieve the true flower.
