In a dystopian future world where people are trapped in prescribed, seemingly ideal life forms, a group of resistance fighters plots to overthrow this system.

"Anyway: the art, the art" follows renowned director Stan's theatre group, who are putting together a play uncovering the dark side of the pharmaceutical industry. Stan hires a psychotherapist Dr Franz. She is supposed to support Stan's actors and ensure that the production runs smoothly. Stan notices that she gets the team and the actors hooked on the drug Zyprecs in an effort to delude them into painting the pharmaceutical industry in a good light. The actors gradually begin to suffer a nervous breakdown from the side effects of the medication, but the premiere is getting closer and closer. As a medical consultant, Dr Franz intervenes ever more deeply in the production process and artistic work.

Twenty-four hours with a group of friends on a Friday in October in Berlin’s district of Neukölln. Övünç is suffering from writer’s block, Pascal and Raha split up recently and are trying to stay friends. Kara constantly sublets her flat to keep herself moving. Henner spends the day in a bar and meets a girl by the name of Anja. That evening they celebrate Övünç’s birthday and drift together through the city’s nightlife. The film depicts six young people in their struggle with the daily grind of life in Berlin and the reality of turning thirty.

Levin lives in his memories and can't shake his first love. Caught in a spiral of constant changing memories he figures out what he really did. Meanwhile his boss forces him to join an elite group of brokers, who meet to fight each other on weekends. Those meetings are a counter balance to their stressful jobs. Levin decides that his big ego doesn't deserve to live. But instead of going through with this decision, he escapes again, risking the life of his boss during one of the fight weekends.
