Liebling Kreuzberg was a television series on ARD, which was sent in five seasons with a total of 58 episodes the first time from 1986 to 1998. The scripts of seasons one through three and five were from Jurek, of his friend Manfred Krug wrote the role of idiosyncratic Berlin attorney Robert favorite on the body, the fourth season was written by Ulrich Plenzdorf. Bibi Blocksberg is a normal little girl - although she can do magic she still has a lot to learn. She's always full of entertaining ideas, one little "Wizz-wizz" and a problem is solved or maybe it's just the start of one.

A young orphaned woman named Kotzebue is trying to find out who her parents are in the icy landscapes of Alaska. Kotzebue is helped by an East German librarian, whose husband was killed while fleeing from the GDR. Although both women could not be more different from each other, a fragile relationship forms.

For some disabled children during the Nazi era, their fate becomes a "journey of no return": under the pretext of being transferred to other children's homes, they are in fact subjected to medical experiments and subsequently murdered. The film's plot also weaves in a love story, a kidnapping, and a deadly escape.
