A village boy meets his tragic fate when he is sent to the city to work for a rich trader.

Nothing is easy for Torik, a shy orphan adopted by his aunt and uncle: he struggles to fit into village life, learn a craft, or find a wife. When Torik does fall in love – with Anjel, a local prostitute – he must face down the disapproval of his narrow-minded community and assert his right to happiness.

Aghun, early married by her despotic father against her will, wages a war against her husband, her family, the village, the world... She couldn't restrain even when the war is won.

Hrant is tailor at the fashion house Olimpia. He's a man of great generosity and kindness but has reputation of being strange. His great love for preserving the spirit of art pushes against the wills of Yerevan's various personalities, and conflicts against the set rules of society.
