The Gardner family moves to a remote farmstead in rural New England to escape the hustle of the 21st century. They are busy adapting to their new life when a meteorite crashes into their front yard, melts into the earth, and infects both the land and the properties of space-time with a strange, otherworldly colour. To their horror, the family discovers this alien force is gradually mutating every life form that it touches—including them.
Bound by a silent pact, five students make a secret trip to the country for what seems to be an initiation ceremony. In threatening landscapes and abandoned ruins, they submit to the strange rituals of their leader, the Dux.
A group of children is organized for a common goal. But which? To achieve this, they develop their entrepreneurial skills, explore their talents and abilities, fail, disagree, but do not give up. Regardless of belief, race, nationality, it is enough to know someone's story to realize how much we are all the same, break the barriers of indifference and make it easier for us to connect/help each other.
