These are the stories of relationships taking place in the fictional five-star hotel Fürstenhof, located in Feldkirchen-Westerham near Rosenheim with the plot revolving around members of the family room area, the hotel owners, and employees.

Lynette Dawson wants to set up a foundation in the name of her late husband. Her sons Patrick and Robin are to act as directors. Lynette hopes that her daughter-in-law Kim and daughter-in-law-to-be Marisa will also get involved in the business. But they have completely different plans. While Kim is reluctant to give up her job as a biologist in London, Marisa breaks off her engagement to Robin. Lynette still thinks she has everything under control. A mistake, because a scandal breaks out on her very first day at the new company: a group of young people working on a project there are diagnosed with signs of poisoning. Lynette denies all accusations. As it turns out, she has put her trust in the wrong person...

What seems like routine for Billy Kuckuck ends dramatically for her quick-tempered client Karl Löwe: he ends up in hospital with a heart attack. The owner of a traditional pastry shop is alleged to have bought an e-scooter online and not paid for it. He stubbornly insists that he neither ordered nor received the scooter. Billy sees things differently, and this time she wants to follow the rules to the letter.
