Stola has been spending his summer in the sweltering haze of festival parties. But one day, he runs into Roko, an old acquaintance, who is on a mission to discover medieval frescoes at a nearby monastery. Roko convinces Stola and a random group of partygoers to join him in his search. However, when their bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere, their brief excursion turns into an allegorical journey into the unknown.

The "Occupied Cinema" follows young activists and events surrounding the takeover of "Zvezda", one of 14 extinguished cinemas from the privatized company "Beograd Film".
Occupied Cinema
Produced in 1970 by Filmske Novosti, this documentary film was created to inform the domestic audience about events in Palestinian territories but also as an act of camaraderie and political support for the Palestine Liberation Organization. The film was first screened when the Federal Conference of the Socialist Alliance of Working People of Yugoslavia hosted a delegation from the Palestine Liberation Organization.
