Biography
Micah Barber is an emerging Director based in Austin. He grew up in northern Michigan, where he developed a love of nature and sense of wonder. Barber's potential has been recognized by the Academy twice, as a Director (Student Academy Award Finalist, 2012) and Screenwriter (Nicholl Fellowship Semifinalist, 2014). He has been influenced by Jim Henson and Hiyao Miyazaki, among others. His films are marked by nostalgia, atmosphere, joy and magic.
