Star Maidens is a British-German science-fiction television series created and written by Eric Paice. Utilising a 'battle of the sexes' and role reversal scenario, the planet Medusa, home to a highly evolved and technologically advanced humanoid race, was already ruled by its women when a rogue comet (as seen in the opening credits) knocked it out of its orbit around Proxima Centauri. Drifting through space, the orphan planet's surface became uninhabitable, with the inhabitants surviving in huge underground cities. Jointly produced by Portman Productions, Scottish Television, and Werbung im Rundfunk for ITV, filming took place at Bray Studios and on location in Windsor and Bracknell, Berkshire, and Black Park, Buckinghamshire. The series ran for 13 episodes from 1 September to 1 December 1976.

The Sentimental Agent is a television drama series spin-off from Man of the World. Produced in the United Kingdom in 1963 by Associated Television and distributed by ITC Entertainment, the series ran for 13 one-hour monochrome episodes. Some episodes were edited into a 1962 feature film Our Man in the Caribbean. Argentinian Carlos Varela is a successful import-export agent based in London, whose company takes him into unusual and sometimes dangerous situations. Impeccably dressed, cigar smoking and using wit, ingenuity, and charm, which often involves a damsel in distress, he is typically assisted by Chin, a resourceful Chinese manservant, and Miss Carter, an ultra-efficient secretary.

It also featured other prominent Australian actors including John Jarratt of Wolf Creek fame, Wendy Hughes, Leonard Teale, Ray Barrett, Peter Cummins of Sunday Too Far Away, John Meillon of "Crocodile" Dundee fame, Megan Williams of The Sullivans fame, John Ewart, Judy Morris, Vincent Ball of A Town Like Alice, Jason Donovan's father Terry, Serge Lazaraff of Cash and Company fame, Peta Toppano, and David Gulpilil. The series was shot in English and Sascha Hehn was dubbed by Australian actor Andrew Harwood .
