4 and a half is the apartment occupied on the Plateau Mont-Royal in Montreal by a young couple. It is a chronicle of the daily life of the urban reality of 25-30 year olds: love, friendship, humor and tenderness.

École Marie-Labrecque is a one-of-a-kind institution: The 60 girls who study at the school are all between the ages of 12 and 17, and they're all pregnant or new mothers. The school's mission is twofold: to give them an education and to prepare them for motherhood. It's It's a huge challenge and they have only a few months to get ready.

Edgar, a lonely, socially awkward immigrant takes care of an apartment for a friend away on vacation. As he visits, he becomes familiar with the absent woman's intimate space. He begins to desire her and anticipate her return. The months go by, the mail piles up and eventually, reality sinks in.

Pablo and his young son Leon spent a canoe camping week-end with Mara, an old canny dog. They share this trip through the Canadian forest, where they are alone in the midst of nature. During this two and a half days, every minute is perfect – until is time to separate.
