A toxic atmosphere is created from the all- encompassing Catholicism and Machismo along with the complexity of class, historical and rural-urban divides, as well as aboriginal-settler tensions.

This is the story about the oldest standing hotel Argentina, the Boulevard Atlántico in Mar del Sur

As in a western, the strength of the film lies in the splendid silence of the Mapuche landscapes of southern Argentina. During his transhumance, the tenderness of Don Ernaldo, his children and his siblings, is scratched by the hostile barbed wire, laid for profitable economic purposes, which the natives always despise and assimilate to the poor. They organize their survival between modernity and necessary resistance.

A university student ventures into northern Argentina in search of material for his thesis and arguments for the story he wants to tell, but with the help of his driver, he discovers an answer completely opposite to what he went looking for, and reality unfolds before his eyes. Years later, that same driver will summon him to ask him a favor.

A major change in the constitution has revolutionized the life of thousands of people in Argentina, the legalization of same sex marriage. Following this event Mathieu and Augustin have led a very serious investigation throughout this huge country covering a wide spectrum of the population and asking them to testify about their everyday life and experiences since their coming out and their legal union.The result is a very beautiful, honest and touching documentary.
