Two journalists in Beirut want to make exciting report for their newspaper, but can't find anything. They discover a gang that all the members are women and work in counterfeiting , so they search for its leader.

A policeman from Africa takes over the task of arresting a gang consisting of women specialized in drug smuggling and murder. He disguises himself as a businessman and gets to know one of the gang members.

At this point, Filfil enlists the services of a witch, Umm ul-Hiba, who transforms Filfila into a chimpanzee, while supplying Filfil with an antidote to her magic, which will return Filfila to her normal self. Although this initially proves successful, the witch is soon afterwards found dead --- and with her death, Filfila turns back into a chimp! The rest of the movie consists of Filfil and Filfila's quest to restore her human form, comprising visits to conjurers, soothsayers, alchemists, and others.

In the tenth century AD, a Mongol tribe raids Lebanon, kidnaps the knight Hossam, and prepares to seize the tribe. Hossam's lover is able to help him escape from the grip of the Mongols, and he is able to form a fighting army to confront the invading forces.
