Simón Feldman was born on 12 January 1922 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was a director and writer, known for El negoción (1959), Los de la mesa 10 (1960) and Mundo nuevo (1965). He was married to Mabel Itzcovich. He died on 17 October 2015 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Simon Feldman's first movie, made while being a teacher at "Seminario de cine de Buenos Aires". Little to nothing is known about it, as it can't be found online. Not only that, but Feldman then remade this film but with a higher budget. The new version was made in 35mm while the original one was made in 16mm. Since the newest version is best remembered (and available online) this first attempt is eclipsed and forgotten.
