Inés Rabadán

A group of friends blessed with the privileges of birth and status are about to leave for a short break. Carl is the first to arrive and discovers that the four-star hotel they've booked is nothing more than an ordinary family pension. This means the beginning of social clashes and unexpected approaches.

After being laid off from their fish deep-freezing factory, two workers, Esther and André accept a temporary job offer. They are assigned to look after the turtles of a well off couple while they are on vacation. After a couple of days spent in the luxurious villa, Esther and André neglect the house and spend all their time in the garden. They finally take French leave and join a groups of fishermen, by the side of a lazy river.

One Sunday, my father died. I wanted to hear friends tell their stories. Friends who I know have had to give up seeing, and touching, and hearing, as we see, and touch, and hear those we love. What's left? What is happening ? What do they make us do?
