Con artist Steve Blair persuades Tony Dallas, a Manhattan gangster, to finance a movie about Adam and Eve by offering the female lead to Tony's stripper girl friend, Cha Cha Miller. The film is such a disaster, however, that Steve and his writer, Paul Ferris, decide to escape on a freighter to Greece. En route, Steve learns that the island of Paradeisos has lost its tourist trade because it has no apparent historical or mythological heritage. Intrigued, he hits upon the scheme of turning Paradeisos into a legendary island of love and taking a cut from all commercial enterprises. After planting Greek antiquities in the waters surrounding the island, Steve induces Paul to "recover" them, thus causing the tourist trade to increase.

A pirate takes over a munitions ship, killing the captain, and when the crew mutinies and abandons ship, is left aboard with the captain's widow.

Antonios tries to help him or Lena be dragged by another patient, Libya Popi (Rena Kosmidou).

A tavern in Piraeus, Kyr Giorgis Adhesive (Dionysis Papagiannopoulos) has sent his son John in Europe, where he turns educated. He marries a woman of high society, the Riris Kalantzi, elected MP. It is absorbed rapidly from the social environment of the mother-in which is told that his father is owner. Kyr Giorgis should eventually appear in the salons. Pelopidas and his wife, Pelagia, receive a visit from their fiery daughter, Dora, who announces that she is separating from her husband, Haris. Before they have time to recover from the shock, their other daughter, Yuli, bursts in and announces that she is also getting divorced. The reason for all this is the new fashion of mini skirts, as women demand the freedom to choose how they dress, but men do not accept the mini. The youngest daughter follows her sisters' example and breaks off her engagement, as does their voluptuous aunt, who also leaves her husband. Manolis finishes his military service and stays in the capital, at his uncle's house (Kostas Kazakos). He finds a job and tries to build a life for himself. However, he gets mixed up with dangerous people and gets a close-up view of the world of drugs and marginalization.

Stamatis Kokoras leaves the profession of the fakir and accepts to work for diplomat Petros. Stamatis, however, must sleep during the day and stay up at night.
