Sora is now enrolled in film school and remains in Japan. At first she struggles to adept to life in Japan. She then comes across an odd man named Matsumoto, who collects discarded glass bottles. Kono machi ni imasu

Takase works part-time as a motorcycle courier but plans to switch jobs the next day to become a drug courier with his friend Kono. His final delivery is to pick up original illustrations from an artist named Nana and deliver them to her publisher. However, when Takase arrives at the designated time, the illustrations aren't ready, forcing him to wait around for hours. The artwork is finally completed late at night. With the job done at last, Takase decides to go out for drinks with Nana. Just then, Kono joins them, and the three of them head out into the night.
