An animated adaptation of twelve of Shakespeare's best-known plays. The series was produced by S4C for the BBC, but animated by some of the foremost artists of Soyuzmultfilm, the former Soviet Union's main animation studio. Each 26-minute play is directed by a different animator, in a wide variety of styles: cel animation for Macbeth, stop-motion puppets in Twelfth Night, and paint on glass for Hamlet.

The revived punctuation marks stand guard over fair play.

On the way they seem to encounter a mysterious conspiracy led by Doctor Verhovtsev against legendary Two Captains Kim and Buran. The only clue is a talking bird Сhatterer [Govorun] that our heroes accidentally took possession of.

While the ant was carrying building materials for a multi-flat anthill on his truck, the dragonfly was basking in its crib. This cartoon is about the sad fate of a little boy who has neither a mother nor a father, only a grandfather. However, the masters didn't care that he was still very young, and they put him to work that was too much for him, and they didn't let him eat, and they scolded and beat him. He was often sent to buy vodka, where he would see the city life, the different people, the big houses, the beautiful horses, and the indifference and cruelty of the people.
