The Saburi family is a large and old family that has been exporting and importing flowers and plants for many years. They still live in peace in an old house, the arrival of a young man in this family changes the lives of the whole family.

In one of his daily wanderings, Ghasem Siah, a young jobless guy who leads a street life, runs into a young American tourist girl who is spending her last day in Tehran. Without understanding each other's words, they strike up a friendship and the girl accepts to sleep with him. But Ghasem doesn't have a place of his own and the girl is about to depart by the next morning. Together they set off on the glistening yet hostile streets of modernizing Tehran of the 70s, in a futile search of a corner of intimacy, while time is ticking away....

Nabi who suffers from Epilepsy is hired by Khosrow to follow his fiancé Golrokh in order to find out about the male lover Khosrow presumes she has. Nabi finds out that Golrokh has a suicidal car accident and tries to help her. However he is not aware of the whole truth.

A spy has entered Iran under the guise of a photographer and is trying to gather information about the location where the hostages are being held.

Mehdi is madly in love with Goli; he follows her everywhere and, because of jealousy, murders Goli’s fiancée, Amir. Goli in search of Amir is confronted with Mehdi and raped. Mehdi is arrested and convicted, but because of lack of evidence he is released and again begins to hurt Goli.

The story focused on a group of farmers who decide to stand up to their tyrannical landlord by rolling a gigantic stone from the top of a mountain with the intention of smashing his exploitative mills and production facilities to smithereens.

Elderly gamekeeper Heydari's encounter with a group of illegal hunters whilst on patrol ends in tragedy.
