Based on true events, Taanashah is a gritty biographical drama that chronicles the rise of Shiv Kumar Patel, a simple villager who transforms into "Dadua" - the most feared and elusive outlaw of the Bundelkhand region. Driven by vengeance, he constructs a formidable rebel army and establishes a powerful parallel government, holding local politics and law enforcement under absolute control for over two decades.
