Biography
Prior to directing, Julie Herlocker was a Post Producer in episodic television. Herlocker has a passion for building tension in her storytelling, exemplified in the three-minute-thriller she also wrote and produced: "A Close Call." A graduate of the DGA's DDI Mentorship Program and a director in the Paramount Global Directing Initiative, Herlocker was recently selected for the inaugural 2024 Alliance of Women Directors Rising Director Fellowship for feature film directors with the screenplay adaptation of Cecile Callan's award winning stage play, Angels Twice Descending.
