Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan is the fifth season in Toei Company's Super Sentai tokusatsu television series. It was broadcast from February 7, 1981, to January 30, 1982, and is the only Super Sentai series to serve as a direct sequel to its previous series and the only all-male Super Sentai team. Its international English title as listed by Toei is simply Sun Vulcan. This was the last Sentai season to be co-produced with Marvel Comics.

Yukie, Koichi and Akira are rogues looking for a place to crash. They move into a house which Etsuko (Kaori Momoi) inherited from her parents. Soon after getting settled, the hippies slip into a communal lifestyle. They eat, have sex, and generally share everything together.

Akira is haunted by a "bouncing ball" song that he remembers his mother singing when he was a small child, and now on the verge of a sexually active adulthood, he wants to find the origins of the song. The young man ostensibly wanders into a time-warp in which aspects from his childhood and adulthood mix together. In this never-never land he comes across a beautiful woman/witch who is lost inside the labyrinth of her mansion, just as the young man is lost in the labyrinth of time — and on some levels, perhaps the labyrinth of his subconscious.

A rock singer who has returned to the U.S. approaches his former musician friends with the soulful sound of reggae that he encountered during his stay in the U.S. However, his friends lost their old energy and were busy chasing only the songs that would sell, and did not pay attention to reggae. Eventually, the lonely and violent rock singer turns to mass indiscriminate murder out of repugnance to the blurred times and humanity.

The wife of a company president is 29 years old and in the prime of her life. Her husband is a powerful man in the financial world, so they are much older than her. As a result, she is always sexually unsatisfied and has affairs with one man after another, first a middle-aged man, then her golf coach, a host, and a sumo wrestler. This film is a film adaptation of Koichiro Uno 's bestselling novel, "A Busy Wife."

With the advent of the era of women's liberation, sexual harassment by women has become more prominent. Akiko enjoys teasing men in the crowded subway. Also, the beautiful and elegant head of a flower arrangement school, Asada Tomoko, secretly engages in sexual harassment on the train. Tomoko is her stepfather's mistress, and is not satisfied with the sex they have.

Do humans have the right to judge and kill other humans? This program includes a history of capital punishment around the world through documentary footage and commentary. The electric chair, firing squad, hanging, poison gas, beating to death, slow execution, crotch-splitting, iron maiden, guillotine, execution by running, and beheading... It features a military execution in a South American country, obtained from a former prison officer. It also includes footage of the reality of life in Japanese prisons, death row inmates facing death, the parents of death row inmates, the families of their victims, and the gallows.
