Velika, a young teacher, is sent to a remote village in the mountains to teach the children who live there.

On the road where nobody knows him, Petar, a middle-aged truck driver, is free to be himself and live as he wants. However, when his son goes missing, he is determined to find him and bring him back, no matter the consequences.

Petra, who has made a life for herself in the big city has a crush on her office co-worker Igor and is trying hard to start a meaningful relationship. Her mother's visit from a provincial town in the south not only jeopardizes her efforts, but adds to the already palpable disconnect between the mother and daughter. But soon it will be New Year's Eve, and everybody is hoping for the best.

Lazy and irresponsible office secretary works for a flamboyant boss that has tendency to cheat on his wife. It's a job-interview day at the office, and the two of them create a confusion with fatal consequences.

A young professor working late on his thesis begins hearing eerie noises echoing through the empty university halls. Skeptical of the Faculty's ghostly legend, his disbelief is shattered when a shadowy encounter sends him fleeing in terror.
