Gurgen Antonyan

The film presents episodes from Narekatsi's life, as well as prayers, monologues, and personal spiritual reflections. Part of the filming was done in Western Armenia. Instead of the destroyed Narekavank, they found the caves where Narekatsi and other saints once hid.

A young Armenian bride's relationship with her husband is put to the test the first day of their marriage when her mother-in-law interferes.
