A British stand-up comedy programme performed from the Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in west London.

Roast Battle is a British roast comedy show that is broadcast on Comedy Central. The show is hosted by Jimmy Carr and features comedians facing each other in roast battles. The show was created by American comedians Jeff Ross and Brian Moses and is based on their Comedy Central series Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle on which Carr has appeared as a contestant.

Irish-Italian comedian Vittorio Angelone went to see a play (Translations by Brian Friel) at the National Theatre in London. He loved the play, still does, but was deeply disturbed by the reaction of the English audience. Join him as he tackles being Irish in England, identity, and the sad comedy shows that seem to win awards.* *Since writing this blurb Vittorio’s show got nominated for, but crucially did not win, an award. The show still makes sense.

Comedian Adam Rowe sets out to explore the question: what is the role of comedy in today’s increasingly divided, febrile and hostile world? In order to answer this, he is tasked to explore the controversial subject of Cultural Appropriation and then deliver a brand new stand-up comedy routine about it to an audience who have been affected by it.

The former Liverpool Comedian of the Year Winner and English Comedian of the Year Finalist, Rowe, delivers a ferociously funny debut hour, covering subjects such as slave labour, (non)healthy living & a hangover induced argument in a bakery.

The boys are in Tanzania, and Adam, Carl and Finn take on the biggest challenge of their lives: Mount Kilimanjaro - the tallest point in Africa. Dan and Harry, in the other hand, didn’t fancy it and have some other plans to soak in the culture…
