Kým sa ucho neodbije
Even heroes can turn into raging rioters by chance. A cartoon of a distinctive personality - author, artist and director Jaroslava Havettová.
Restaurant
The Sisyphus-like story by two co-authors is set in the present. The hero’s boulder is his everyday duties and the need to earn money and look after the family. The dynamic story imitates for instance the rapid pans and tilts of a camera by blurring the picture, the final intensity of changes implicates the stereotypical working routine. Animation on translucent layers alternates with total drawing.
Deal

Animated short inspired by 'Yellow Submarine'.
The Song
Animated film composed of three short separate parts. In one we watch the struggle of matches with a teapot. The matches will be helped by a candle and the matches will thank her very interestingly for disposing of the teapot. In the next story, we follow the story of a little weather pencil and a little knife who falls in love with her. But the knife is unlucky, and so in the end we see how the pencil turns out when instead of a knife he uses the services of a grater. The last story presents the relationship of clothes and irons. As in the previous cases, "gratitude for help"again comes into play. I'll keep the points of the individual parts for myself, so that you have something to watch if you're lucky enough to get to these films.
Kontakty
How does an artist deal with official demands for constant reworking of his work? The film presents a conflict between an ideologically unencumbered creative intention and an ideological burden imposed on artistic creation, which ultimately reveals a very pragmatic and selfish intention.
The Last Stone
A sculptor, torn between self-talk and the desire to find the statue within the stone, chips away at its raw surface, riding an emotional rollercoaster. Does he possess the Michelangelo-like talent for such an act of liberation?
