Known For

Insulted by Rosario, a rich businessman, Jai Kishen a Matchmaker teaches him a lesson by getting his daughter married to Raju, a Coolie, who poses to be a millionaire. They sense something fishy and Raju's deceptions are discovered. In an attempt to cover it up, he cooks up a story of having a filthy rich twin. One lie leads to another and things start to go awry culminating in a comedy of errors.

Muthal Vasantham

Shanmuga Pandian is a kind-hearted person and respected estate owner, he lives with his father Selvanayagam and mother Lakshmi and sister Sumathi. Shanmuga Pandian and Divya fall in love with each other. At Sumathi's wedding, Selvanayagam is falsely arrested for suppliyng weapons to terrorists. Thereafter, Sumathi's wedding is immediately stopped, Lakshmi becomes paralyzed and Divya refuses to marry him only because Shanmuga Pandian became poor. Nandhini hires Shanmuga Pandian in her company but her father considers Selvanayagam as his nemesis. Shanmuga Pandian and Nandhini fall in love with each other. The conspiracy against Selvanayagam was in fact planned by the corrupt politician P.K.R and his son Vasu. Later, Divya gets married with Vasu but the sadistic Vasu tortures Divya. The rest of the story is Shanmuga Pandian proves his father's innocence and revenge the villains with the help of Divya and Nandhini.

Rassappa Gounder (Sathyaraj), also known as Mallu Vetti Minor, was a bachelor and rich man who spent his time in the brothels like his father Marappa Gounder. Santhana Lakshmi and Rassappa fell in love with each other. Rassappa Gounder and President (Vinu Chakravarthy) were in feud since several years. In a misunderstanding, Rassappa Gounder had to get married Parimala (Seetha) and married her. Few years later, Rassappa Gounder became the perfect husband and had a son. While Santhana Lakshmi was still unmarried and teased Rassappa Gounder whenever she got the opportunity. The next day, Raja is found dead and Siva conducts the investigation. Ramesh admits to his father Sathyamoorthy that he killed his younger Raja. Sathyamoorthy decides to protect Ramesh at all costs while Siva wants to send Ramesh to jail. What transpires later forms the crux of the story.
