Rafael Brull is the only son of a powerful landowning family in a small Mediterranean town. When he meets Leonora, a mysterious opera singer, his family try to stop their courtship.

María, a young and attractive woman, loses her job, meets Luis, a young man with no stable job neither, his wife supports him. Luis wants to start a relationship with María, but she doesn't. She prefers to be with Luis' friends instead.

Two young film buffs, Jesús Martínez León and José Luis Cuerda, came from Madrid in the hope of interviewing him. After thirty years of life and films we recover that unpublished interview.
