Biography
Veerendra was born on January 29, 1948 in Punjab, India. He was an actor and director, known for Batwara (1983), Yaari Jatt Di (1987) and Dushmani Dee Agg (1990). He was previously married to Pammi Varinder. He died on December 6, 1988 in Talwandi Kalan, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Cousin of the mighty Dharmendra - hence the special appearances in many of Veerendra's movies. Many people believe he was shot dead due to the fact that he was in all Punjabi movies being made, and others became jealous.
