L.A. Law is an American television legal drama series that ran for eight seasons on NBC from September 15, 1986, to May 19, 1994. Created by Steven Bochco and Terry Louise Fisher, it contained many of Bochco's trademark features including a large number of parallel storylines, social drama and off-the-wall humor. It reflected the social and cultural ideologies of the 1980s and early 1990s, and many of the cases featured on the show dealt with hot-topic issues such as abortion, racism, gay rights, homophobia, sexual harassment, AIDS, and domestic violence. The series often also reflected social tensions between the wealthy senior lawyer protagonists and their less well-paid junior staff. The show was popular with audiences and critics, and won 15 Emmy Awards throughout its run, four of which were for Outstanding Drama Series.

Workaholic Mike Flaherty is the Deputy Mayor of New York City, serving as Mayor Randall Winston's key strategist and much-needed handler. Mike runs the city with the help of his oddball staff: an anxious and insecure press secretary; a sexist, boorish chief of staff; an impeccably groomed gay activist running minority affairs; a sharp and efficient, man-crazy accountant; and an idealistic young speechwriter. Hey Joel is an American animated television series. It is about Joel Stein, the host of a three-minute rock-star interview show on VH1 called "3 minutes with Joel". However, he is anything but respectful to his famous guests, often badgering them with aggressive, pointless, irreverent, and often insulting questions. Jon Cryer provides the voicing for the part of Joel. His coworkers include Michele, his producer, on whom he has a crush; Kevin, his production assistant; Leif, his nemesis, who is VH1's star; and Z, the all-business head of programming. The band Fountains of Wayne performs their own original compositions for the show, and appear as animated characters during the musical sequences. After an initial run on VH1 in 2003, the show was picked up by Teletoon, and episodes continue to air in Canada. The first season was made available on DVD June 24, 2008.

Set in New York City, the series brings the viewer into the jury room to watch the deliberators try to answer the many questions posed during a trial. As facts are exposed through flashbacks of testimony and crime footage, viewers will form their own opinions about the guilt or innocence of the defendant. Following each verdict, a final flashback will let viewers see the crime as it actually happened and reveal whether or not the jury made the right decision.

Madman of the People is an American sitcom that aired on NBC from 1994 to 1995. It was scheduled in the Thursday 9:30 timeslot, part of Must See TV. Madman of the People was produced by Kreiscluesco Industries/Spelling Television.

Delta is a short-lived U.S television sitcom series produced by ABC starring Delta Burke. Burke plays a woman who leaves her life behind to pursue her dream as a country music singer. Burke, most popular for her role as Suzanne Sugarbaker in the popular CBS sitcom Designing Women, reportedly utilized her own singing talents for the role of Bishop, and dyed her familiar brunette hair blonde to play the role. The series premiered September 15, 1992, to healthy ratings following the ABC blockbuster Roseanne. The series then moved to Thursday nights opposite FOX's The Simpsons, and ratings began to sink. The show was pulled from the schedule and returned to ABC the following Spring for six episodes before finally being canceled. In an attempt to infuse ratings, Burke brought her brunette hair back that spring, in the sake of familiarity, but it did little to save the series. The theme song for the show was Reba McEntire's 'Climb That Mountain High' which was not a charted Reba single. The tune appears on the 1990 MCA album Rumor Has It. The show received one Golden Globe Award nomination, to co-star Earl Holliman for "Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a TV-Series".
