A fairly realistic fiction by Martín Piroyansky about the life of Martín Piroyansky. The story revolves around an actor who loses his job due to an employment contract, which for many people is an unsolved mystery.

Cranky, crafty and always immaculately dressed, aged master tailor Abraham Bursztein finds himself facing his winter years in a retirement home after discovering his children have sold his home out from under him. Not one to go quietly, Abraham unexpectedly travels to Poland in order to deliver a suit to a childhood friend who saved his life during the Nazi occupation.

Sofía travels from La Plata to Los Toldos, her hometown. During her stay, Sofía will assist her father, who is in poor health, with the funeral work being done by Casa Coraggio, the family business. In the history of her ancestors, each one has had to take on this responsibility and continue a legacy that spans more than 120 years. Amidst an atmosphere of life and death, Sofía struggles between following tradition or choosing a new path.

An unclassifiable film that swerves between the realms of conceptualism, comedy, sound art, every-day anecdote and a grim accounting of our “society of control”. Departing from the weird experience of being a “language strategist” in a modern work-place, it sketches out multiple systems of words, symbols, diagrams, gestures and ex-changes – only to deconstruct them, and constantly return us to the realm of “pure signifiers”, the noise that exist before any identifiable meaning, the lines and colours that precede a recognisable image. In a world of logos designed to emotionally manipulate us, Segal values our perceptual freedom.

Paula is leaving town and Lucía is going to miss her. But Paula has missed Lucía once before, and found a strange solution: keeping her in a perfume. Then, her scent wafts through the streets and Lucía will mingle with the passers-by.

Laura arrives in New York to join Viktor, a Hungarian filmmaker she has been working with on a documentary about Béla Bartók. At the same time Pierre, a film director from Paris, is in town looking for an actor to play the role of Bartók’s grandson in a fiction film he will be shooting in France. Fiction and reality are intertwined as the characters jump from one story to another in order to locate the missing parts of a puzzle that will unveil a mystery surrounding the death of the famous composer.
