Duk-dol comes to love the woman but she goes off to her husband.

Do-hee crashes her motorcycle and ends up in a hospital, where she meets Seon-a—an in-patient battling a rare, incurable bone cancer. They form a tender friendship. Do-hee, moved by Seon-a’s spirit, joins a university mountaineering club and climbs Seorak Mountain, praying for her recovery. Seon-a’s parents care deeply, but her condition continues to worsen.
Seung-Hye (female), who has her dream to become a good singer, comes to Seoul and becomes acquainted with Mr. Lee, a bandmaster. Mr. Lee gives her a recommendation letter to introduce her to SeonWoo Kang, a composer. At that time, he intends to retire from pop song world owing to his incurable disease. Ji-yeong has a biking accident and is aided by a boy who is practicing to become an Olympic marathon runner. The young man falls ill during a practice and is forced to give up his dream due to a previously undiagnosed heart disease. Ji-yeong wants to help him, but her parents don't allow it, so she steals a camera to pawn for the money for the boy's hospital bill.
