Sidika is the story of Saka family and their young daughter Sidika who live in a poor neighborhood of Istanbul. She approaches her life, half-witted older brother, oppressive and alcoholic father and traditionalist mother in a satirical and fun manner along with the current political and sociological events of Turkey and the world. She gazes the world through her window as she hungers for all the intellectual accumulation of the universe.
