Biography
Pavel Fattakhutdinov born in Sverdlovsk. He graduated from the higher courses of screenwriters and directors (Moscow), the Faculty of Stage Directors (1979). He has received many awards, including the National Award "Laurel".
Known For

1927. A retired Red Army commander Constantine Vorontsov is appointed a Criminal Investigation Department head in a principal city of province. An experienced repeater named Korney shows up in the city. Thanks to a successfully performed operation a place of a local thieves gathering place is now known. But Korney, foreboding of an ambush, changes the place at the last moment. Vorontsov doesnt have enough time to warn all his colleagues and heads for the thieves meeting by his own.
Alone and Unarmed

A small Russian town is prospering, because it's main industry is the chocolate factory. But this kind of prosperity comes at a very high price. Everybody in this town is eating plenty of chocolate, and everyone is suffering from diabetes. There is a thick smell of chocolate in the air, and the local river has brown water, that is filthy with chocolate pollution. So people decided to put an end to their suffering and to shut the chocolate factory down. But the chocolate business is so lucrative, that the factory is expanding, and rapidly increasing the production of chocolate. Conscious citizens are terrified, and an anti-chocolate riot is brewing.
Chocolate Riot
On the shore of the Angara River, two old, lonely people met - a man and a woman. They found their happiness, and would have lived like this until their death, but the great construction project, designed to turn the Hangar into a giant source of electricity, separates them. The film won the Prize as the best short film at the Open Documentary Film Festival "Russia" (Yekaterinburg).
