Biography

Karim Amer is an Emmy, BAFTA, and Academy Award nominated filmmaker known for his bold investigative documentaries and global social impact storytelling. His work includes HBO’s The Vow, Showtime’s The Lincoln Project, and Amazon’s Flight Risk, which earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Investigative Documentary. His Netflix film The Great Hack premiered at Sundance, was shortlisted for the Oscars, and received both BAFTA and Emmy nominations. He has also produced the narrative feature films You Resemble Me (WILLA) and All That's Left of You (Visibility Films/Watermelon Pictures).
