One of the first post-Independence Bosnian sitcoms. Production started on June 22, 2001 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The final episode was filmed in Sarajevo on August 25, 2008 and aired in October. It eventually became one of the region's most popular sitcoms.

The two worlds are different

Austrian journalist asks her editor to send her to Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to investigate disappearance of girl.

The year is 37 BC. A young Liburnian Volsus is taken by a Roman unit to help in what at first seems a simple task of collecting taxes, but the encounters with local Illyrian tribes soon lead to unexpected turns of events, as they show more resilience to subjugation than meets the eye. We see their archaic, emotional world of quaint and brutal laws and traditions through the eyes of this youngster, regarded by the Romans as a primitive barbarian, and gradually come to understand that their world is not all that different from our own.

In the summer of 1993, a group of Bosnian refugees flee to Sweden due to the war in Bosnia. The Swedish Red Cross places refugees in a pavilion for migrants. Among them is the middle-aged married couple, Dervish and Adem. Dervish meets the Swede Ingrid in the pavilion and despite the language barrier, the two become good friends. Then, Dervish finds out that Ingrid is seriously ill...

Following the promotion of his selected works, writer Edo Sokolija reveals to the young journalist the secret of his most famous work’s creation. Just as he once reconstructed a true tragic story from a forgotten proverb, now this fateful conversation brings him to the lifeline much like his own.
