Educando a Nina is the story of two identical twin sisters separated at birth, who lead opposite lives and are unaware of each other's existence. While Mara was born into a world of luxury, Nina is a dancer and chorus girl, waiting for the moment when life will give her an opportunity. When Mara gets arrested in Ibiza, Nina is offered the job of replacing her while she's away.

In this Argentine dramedy set in the soccer world, three sports agents form an alliance in order to save their businesses. Together, they launch Protectores S.A., an agency that not only seeks to protect the financial interests of their players, but also strives to keep them away from unsavory temptations and "fix" the unexpected problems they kick their way into.

In each episode, which takes place independently of each other, commissioners Jiménez (Luis Luque) and Laurenzi (Darío Grandinetti) must solve different police cases that will be presented to them and will be a challenge for them, for which they will receive the help of the editor literary Daniel Hernández (Nicolás Cabré) who is looking to write a book about crimes.

The resulting parental dispute, the love triangle of the main characters and 1980s nostalgia are frequent plot elements, and story arcs related to school bullying and LGBT rights are also featured.
