The movie Aagun is a drama film released in 2014, directed by Joydeep Mukherjee under the banner of Pitrasish Films Limited. The music is composed by Anindya Banerjee and the lyrics are written by Priyo Chattapadhyay. The cast includes Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Rajatava Datta, Arindam Seal, Abir Chatterjee, Gourav Chakraborty, Indrashish Roy, Sudipa Basu and Ridhima Ghosh.

This is a story of isolation and hope, of a writer in exile. The writer is banished for her attack on religious fundamentalism and patriarchy and her cat is suddenly left alone.

This is the story of chirpy Charki, an 8-year-old girl from a middle-class business family. Her father, Rajesh, is a jeweler and also deals in gemstones. However, the shop runs mostly on credit. Charki is Rajesh's daughter from his second marriage. He married his sister-in-law Saraswati after his beloved first wife, Lakshmi, passed away. Saraswati, incidentally, ran away with a local guy leaving baby Charki with Rajesh. Since then, Rajesh's only focus became his business and lived a mundane life governed by rituals and spiritual practices.

Focusing on the predicaments of those born with genetic defect causing dwarfism, the film is the love story between Khoka and Soma.
