The unit specializes in the investigation of serial murders and is led by Van der Bijl, a former murder and robbery detective who gained fame for his handling of several high-profile cases. Each episode focuses on a serial killer. The main character, Colonel Piet van der Bijl, also known as Die Byl, is loosely modeled on the famous ex-detective Piet Byleveld.
Geraldina die Tweede (Geraldina the Second) is a South African comedy-drama television series created by Esta Steyn about a woman who hatches a plan to get her hands on her recently deceased step-sister's fortune.
The program is based on the eponymous stage production. It's a situation comedy built around the actors Lida and Johan Botha, who make their appearance as Stanley and Deborah Vermeulen, or Grandpa and Grandma. It deals with various aspects of growing older and their adjustment to be grandparents. Deborah's niece, Anna, lives with them in the house, and Patience is the insistence of their son, Seuna appointed as their nurse.

South African Film
The story begins when Leendra van Hellberg (Deirdre Wolhuter) is released from prison after spending seven years incarcerated having being found guilty of murdering her lover. She returns home to her family in the small West Coast village of Soutmanspan, where her parents once owned a quarry before being killed in an explosion. Leendra believes the explosion was not an accident and is determined to find out who killed her parents. She believes that Gilbert Redelinghuys (André Odendaal), whose filthy rich father owns many properties in the town, had something to do with the murders. The Redelinghuys's also own a piece of land called Vlaktevlei which they used to lease to the municipality. That lease has now expired and the family wants the Coloured community living there to move out to make way for the development of a holiday resort.
Just before the massacre of Donkergat during the Anglo-Boer war, Commandant Piet van Kloten buries a fortune in Kruger Rands in the area of the battlefield. So that he would remember where he buried the treasure he draws a rough map. He tears it in half and gives one half to his servant Plaatjies, extracting a promise that he will not let it fall into the wrong hands should he survive the battle.
The story of Anna, a teacher who through an error in judgement loses everything that matters to her in life. In her heartache she finds a job at a farm school called Uitvlucht in the Eastern Cape. As she is confronted with the choices she made in her life she slowly starts experiencing healing and restoration and learns to forgive herself. She starts accepting her circumstances and the fact that someone will love her again. With the support of the teachers and Dok, a kind hearted and friendly farmer, who visits the school and make friends with Anna, she finds the courage to re-build herself and others around her. Besides her own drama, she must also suddenly deal with the alcohol abuse of school parents, molestation and ruthless people who have no respect for their own lives.
