Tropical SOV is a Brazilian anthology that brings together 23 independent filmmakers who bring to life 21 hilarious, strange and bizarre stories that could only happen in Brazil. From brains that produce cocaine to the incredible human videocassette, including the secrets of synthetic meat, baldness cures, castration of rapists, nihilistic fruits, magical sweets and the poop king of Evangelistão.

In a Brazil taken over by a new dictatorial regime, Íris, a young hacker whose father was taken as a political prisoner, discovers an online challenge from a secret organization known only as 'Cicada,' which will set her on a journey that could change the course of the country... and also uncover what really happened to her father.

MATRACA reveals, in old urban spaces in the city center, a fortress of sounds and silences; urban presence and voids; vestiges of the enjoyment of the future, present and past times of this multifaceted society. Echoes of this past erupt in an unexpected ghostly visit, which appears to scare or to be scared? Vitor Colares strolls through the center of Fortaleza reflecting and recalling excerpts from the controversial book A Normalista by Adolfo Caminha, explaining the historical stays and ruptures that persist in wandering around the city.
