Rade is in love with Milica, but her father Marko, a village butcher, does not approve. He wants his son to finish school and leave the village. Marko buys a sick cow from Milica's father, puts a false stamp on it, and sells the meat as if it were healthy. Rade finds out that his father has been doing this for a long time, and so he comes into conflict with him.
Scenes from a Life

The story follows five months in the life of Belgrade student Maja Sabljic, an actress-to-be, from her high school graduation day (at the end of May) until mid September when she tries to enroll at the Film Academy (FDU). The story is presented in the documentary style, involving the real-life persons of the late seventies' Belgrade scene.
Personal Affairs

An architect Pavle is furious with his wife for conducting an affair with his best friend and business partner. Weeks later, a deformed corpse is found washed up on the river banks and is identified to be that of Pavle. Three years later, Pavle, now the deceased, unexpectedly returns.
